Common Atoms Problems We Fix

Atoms projects hit predictable blockers as they grow beyond simple component layouts. These are the issues we fix most often.

Component State Lost on Navigation

Atoms components reset their local state when you navigate away and return, because the component tree is unmounted and remounted. Data entered by users or fetched from an API disappears. We implement persistent state management so the app behaves correctly across navigation.

Data Bindings Breaking After Structure Changes

Renaming a component or reorganising the layout breaks data bindings that reference it by path. The Atoms editor doesn’t always show the broken references until runtime. We audit all bindings, fix the broken references, and restructure the data flow to be more resilient.

API Auth Token Not Refreshing

API connections in Atoms don’t automatically handle OAuth token expiry. After the access token expires, every API call fails silently. We implement a token refresh mechanism so the app stays authenticated through long user sessions.

Vendor Lock-In and Migration

Atoms uses a proprietary component model. If you need to move off the platform — to React, Vue, or a standard framework — the components don’t export cleanly. We migrate your app to a portable codebase you can develop independently.

Responsive Layout Breaking on Mobile

Atoms layouts built on desktop often have fixed widths or absolute positions that don’t reflow correctly on mobile. We refactor the layout to use fluid containers and responsive breakpoints so the app works on all screen sizes.

Persistent Bugs That Prompting Won’t Fix

Some bugs are caused by race conditions, incorrect event ordering, or platform limitations that no amount of prompt iteration will resolve. We go into the code directly, identify the root cause, and fix it cleanly.
